The Downfall of Golden Age Superheroes?
Another TV show takes a shot at the golden age of heroes
Is the era of superheroes over in pop culture?
You must think I’m playing dumb since superhero movies and shows seem to be coming out every single week while grabbing every loose dollar we have left, but that isn’t the point.
Are we trading in moralistic Superman for brutal Batman? Are shows like “Jupiter’s Legacy” and “The Boys” indicating that we don’t truly believe in the Golden Age values such as truth, justice, and the American way?
When our uniquely American mythology, comic books, go dark, what does that say about the mindset of those who consume them?
I discussed all this and more in last week’s episode of the Second Print Comics Podcast.

l’m not a financial adviser or certified professional. I only do what I feel is right for me, and as someone that has had a unique career path, passive income through investing has allowed me to build wealth and earn reliable cash flow. While administrations come and go, and policies change by the day, ultimately the biggest impact on my financial health and future are the decisions I make regarding my money.
If the recent defense of corrupt hedge funds, Wall Street bankers, and immoral regulators have shown us anything, it’s that the only people with our best interest at heart when it comes to our money are ourselves.
