2020 was a big year for me. Like BIG year.

I got a salary cut at my day job but also learned how to invest. I got another job later in the year making a ton more money, and then ended up unemployed after five months. I started a side business, learned a ton about investing and saving, got screwed with taxes (thanks stimulus checks), and somehow for the first time, didn’t find myself intimidated by my finances or financial future.

Somehow though, through all the unexpected ups and downs, my cash flow and overall net worth (compared to an average 20-something) doubled. Like seriously, as I look at my portfolio, this is like the basis of a twisted comedy about a dude who dodged a million bullets but turned out ok at the end.

As a proud YTU grad (YouTube University… its a joke), I can certainly say, at the end of the day, the most valuable knowledge I’ve ever learned was the stuff I researched using the crazy amount of knowledge on Al Gore’s amazing internet.
