Podcasting Didn't Replace Blogging (it Just Added Flavor)
It'll make more sense in a minute
So over at the Badger Institute, we started a podcast. This is an exciting new venture, but the question some people had is why? Well, this new project is an addition to our existing and ongoing body of work. It is meant to add value, and not replace the great written projects and research we’re already doing.
Now most people in digital marketing like myself understand the need to diversify content across different mediums, but many people, especially content creators, feel they need to dedicate themself to the medium of communication that will trend better online.
That brings us to the basic question I used to get a lot from clients- should I do a YouTube channel, blog, or podcast?
YouTube is a completely different animal I don’t claim to be an expert in, but when it comes to blogging and podcasting, I’m your guy.
The question isn’t “should I blog or podcast?” The question is “what do I want to set out to accomplish?”
