Folks,
I’ve been on different people’s and organization’s “blacklist.” I’ve heard and seen my name trashed by reporters and politicians alike.
And truth be told, I’m an absolute nobody.
When certain outlets and networks didn’t want to carry my show, I produced and managed it all myself until I found a home at the We Are Libertarians Network. When publishers told me my books and my articles were trash and wouldn’t do well, I self-published myself and managed to even become a bestselling author.
When they push back, I stood still. When I felt I was at my lowest, God brought me back up. When someone said I’d fail on my own, I simply became bigger.
I have a mantra when I’m dealing with the mob, “You don’t cancel me, I cancel you.”
I know we’re only in February, but I can tell you already the recent interview with Gina Carano and Ben Shapiro is the most important interview of 2021. I 100% connected with Gina’s worries and concerns, but ultimately her optimism.
We can only depend on ourselves to get us to our goals, but to truly be a hero to someone else is to give them a hand when no one else can.
Stand for each other, support each other, and never, ever stop being you.

Will Larry Hogan Save or Kill Maryland Businesses?
The same stupid digital advertising tax that killed businesses in Washington D.C. in 2020 has now been put on the path for potential approval by America’s most liberal Republican governor, Larry Hogan, known for flip-flopping, just when small and mid-sized businesses are just now starting to recover.
The first tax on digital ad revenue from Big Tech companies is headed for Maryland after the state Senate voted on Friday to override Gov. Larry Hogan's veto.
That tax, which is projected to generate as much as $250 million in its first year, will fund the state's education reform. The Senate voted 29-17, just making it past the two-thirds threshold necessary to override a veto.
The law will impose a 2.5% tax on ad revenues from companies that make between $100 million and $1 billion. Companies that make more than $15 billion, such as Google and Facebook, will pay a 10% tax on ads that are displayed inside the state.
Hogan and business groups argued that the tax will get passed down to small businesses that rely on Big Tech companies for advertising. The Tax Foundation said the tax was "unworkably vague" and illustrated "how lawmakers have failed to take the complexity of digital advertising into account in structuring the proposed tax."

l’m not a financial adviser or certified professional. I only do what I feel is right for me, and as someone that has had a unique career path, passive income through investing has allowed me to build wealth and earn reliable cash flow. While administrations come and go, and policies change by the day, ultimately the biggest impact on my financial health and future are the decisions I make regarding my money.
If the recent defense of corrupt hedge funds, Wall Street bankers, and immoral regulators have shown us anything, it’s that the only people with our best interest at heart when it comes to our money are ourselves.

What Happens When Democracy Dies?
From my good friends at the Break The Bell Podcast:
There is a fine line between taking necessary steps to save a democracy and overstepping and destroying it. Hans Kelsen said in 1932, “Whoever is for democracy cannot let himself be caught in the fateful contradiction of reaching for dictatorship to save democracy.” This week we take a look at the steps that lead to democratic backsliding and dig into some examples of countries who once were flourishing democracies, and ultimately crossed the line into dictatorship.
