I Saw The Future and It's Terrifying
There isn't a political answer to this either
Do you sleep well?
I’ve had trouble sleeping, more so now than before I was married.
I have to be responsible for myself and for another human being and sometimes I feel like I know what I’m doing, other times I don’t and it scares me.
When I moved out of D.C. a year ago, I came to a new city with no friends, no connections, all I really had was a car and my apartment. My parents helped me move in and two days later they left, I was alone.
I had only been engaged two weeks when I moved to Wisconsin by myself. She wouldn’t be able to be with me for a full year. I was alone.
I knew two things were going to happen a year later:
I was going to be married.
The world was going to become a far more difficult place to live.
Both those things happened.

You need a network of people who think like you; you need mentors who can teach you what you need to get through in these difficult times.
You need the education and tools necessary to survive and thrive in this new world.

I’m not a spokesperson or a guru, I’m a HU student because I know what is happening in the world and it terrifies me.
