Big Changes Coming to Get Through "The Dim Age"
We can't control the world around us, but we can control ourselves
I told you there would be a point in time where something would happen and I’d need to definitely find ways to keep in touch with all you awesome people. Well, I’m the victim of my own self-fulfilling prophecy. So let’s address the awkward elephant in the room…
On December 11th, 2020, I left Parler. I wish them the best, but it was time to leave. All the personal and societal changes that impacted me like many of you in 2020 left me with more questions about where I saw my future taking me than answers. Frankly, I want to reset some parts of my life, and that required a hard reboot.
I want to work with people who put up as much effort as I do to succeed. I want to spend my time creating content, resources, and value for serious people so I can find more meaning in my work. I want to work with people and organizations because I genuinely want to, not because I’m stuck with and entirely dependent upon them for the money needed to buy back my own freedom.
I want to create the content, tools, products, and services that will truly make people’s lives better, even if it’s just in a small way.
A good friend of mine, Marc Clair, recently interviewed Vin Armani about what he describes as the coming “the Dim Age” on his podcast Lions of Liberty. Vin describes this coming era as a place “where facts, logic and reason have given way to the mysticism of the ‘Church of Woke.’ In the interview, Vin went down just how we got there, and what you can to do understand and survive the Dim Age. Long story short, the forecast isn’t great.
Just because the world around us might seem harsh, that doesn’t mean we can’t at least try and make it somewhat better. Therefore, at least for the next few months as I try and figure out my path ahead from square one, there are some immediate goals I’m going to work on I hope you can be part of.
Continue the journey to explore the world around us
It was crazy when I started doing “On the Run” at the We Are Libertarians Network last May. The whole intent was to do a full-on travel show, but the timing was absolutely terrible as the pandemic kicked off and made travel almost non-existent. The focus went from just having to explore physical places to exploring the ideas and lifestyles of people who make existence so interesting. From interviewing ghost hunters to understanding what it’s like growing up as a pastor’s kid, from talking about bad movies with my friends to wondering about the existence of aliens, I genuinely believe that things worked out for the better.
This year, we’re going to double down on the question of what makes life worth living, what brings us genuine joy and how can we better understand ourselves as human beings. We’ll balance the funny topics and serious topics as we always do, but continue to travel to parts unknown in ways even I can’t predict yet.
If you’re ready to go on the run from the norm, non-productive collectivist BS, from the political theater and corporate distractions, get ready for more and consider subscribing today if you haven’t already so you get new episodes immediately to your podcatcher of choice every Monday and Thursday.
Read comics, change the world
Something great and unexpected that came out of 2020 was a joint project and business with my good friend Marc Clair. The Second Print Comics podcast has given Marc and me a chance to share some of the things we love with you, delivering a genuine escape every Wednesday from the crap on the news and online.
Every week Marc and I jump into the comic books and stories we love that helped shape our fandom. Comic books and the superhero genre speak about the real struggles of life in a fun and fantastic fictional way. From laughs about the genuinely terrible stories published over the years to discuss how some comics deeply impacted me as a person, this community we’ve been able to create and grow have encouraged us to keep going and delivering great material about the nerd and geek stuff we can’t talk enough about.
There is a time for seriousness, but sometimes we need to chill out, lay back, and just have some fun for fun’s sake. I hope we can bring a bit of laughter to the world one episode at a time here at the Second Print Comics Podcast.

Ending one chapter to begin another
The four-year journey of exploring the unknown isn’t coming to an end, it’s just changing. Our team of paranormal investigators recently wrapped up filming season 3 of our Indie Series Awards-winning show “The Witching Hour”, which will be our final season of this television series.
We set out to do one job- show believers and non-believers of the supernatural and paranormal that sometimes incredible things happen without a cut and clear answer as to why. You laughed with us, you screamed with us, and allowed us into your homes for going on three fantastic seasons.
The team of Argos Paranormal led by my brother, filmmaker and producer Ryan Martinez, will continue to investigate new and exciting locations as we continue our research, we will continue to do private home investigations as well. Now since we don’t have to always lug around insane amounts of film equipment, we can do what we do best with our full attention and energy- investigate the things that go bump in the dark. We’ll continue to be active on social media as well as uploading regular vlogs and other video content regularly on the Argos Paranormal YouTube channel.
Until next time…
If you took the time to read through everything, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. I’m going to be putting a lot of work into these projects, as well as taking the time to focus on myself, friends, and family as I attempt to reorient my life in the direction of wherever fate will take me.
Good luck, Godspeed, and let’s continue this exploration into life together,
